healthcare there is a term call – “prevention is better
than cure”- It does work the same way with software.
More defects we find at the early stage of software/hardware,
more cost effective it is at the end. If we look at
the graph below we can see how we have to pay for quality
of software if we don’t maintain quality from the beginning
